One Cool Ad Campaign: 1800 Tequila

1800 Tequila takes their ad campaign from the streets directly into your house.

This "art in a bottle" campaign from 1800 Tequila used nine artists from around the world to design collectible limited edition bottles of the tequila; the bottle designs are also being displayed as an outdoor campaign on billboards across several US cities.

The artists are Jorge Alderete (Mexico City) , Jeremy Bacharach (Chicago), Glenn Barr (Detroit), Will Chambers (Chicago), Chris Dean (Detroit), Kim Dosa (Atlanta), Josh Ellingson (Oakland), Hannah Stouffer (Oakland) and Urban Medium (Atlanta).

There are only 1800 bottles of each design of the limited edition bottles.

For those who are unable to view the high-impact billboards in person, and want to design their own bottles and own tennis shoes can visit the campaign online at www.1800Tequila.com .

What do you think of advertising on bottles? What are your thoughts on tying this limited edition bottles to an outdoor ad campaign?

What other liquor brands use their bottles as advertising?
