In my perpetual hunt for the weird, wacky and funny, I just found a purse that is made to look like an unborn fetus. Yes, that's right, an unborn fetus. Although I guess by definition all fetuses are unborn, right?

I am not sure how popular carrying around a salmon colored woolen representation of an upborn fetus would be. But I do know there are lots of people out there with nontraditional tastes who would probably like this. It reminds me a little of the fetus jewelry that I brought to your attention about a year ago in my post on Weirdest Jewelry Ever .

I don't carry a coin purse so it's not a buying decision that I ever need to ponder. But if I did buy one, I guess I could put the handy Fetus Coin Purse into one of the Ten Weirdest Handbags I posted about a few weeks ago.

In the Anticraft website where this unusual coin purse is featured, the creator of the Fetus Coin Purse says "In real life a 10-week fetus is 3/4 of an inch long and weighs half an ounce. That would not hold much change, so this knitted version has been enlarged.... [This version is ] 7" long, excluding umbilical cord."
