Invention Contest for Pet Products


Shure Pets, a direct seller of pet products, is having its first animal product invention contest. Shure Pets is inviting all animal lovers to submit any ideas for revolutionary pet products.KittenKitten

The winning product will be sold under the Shure Pets brand, featured in the Shure Pets catalog, included in the monthly newsletter and presented by pet consultants through in-home parties. The winning inventor will also receive royalties on sales of the product, and the product will be exclusive to Shure Pets for two years.

Contestants must complete the entry form found at http://www.shurepets.com/invention.html and mail it (with product photograph) to Shure Pets, 1556 N. LaSalle St. Chicago, IL 60610. Entries must be submitted by Feb. 28, 2007.

PetsPetsShure Pets will announce the contest winner April 1, 2007.

I have ideas

BUT wouldn't something like this be more likely to "take" a majority of the ideas (the "losers") and exploit them while only giving ONE person a "prize"? Or, if I submitted my ideas, I think I would "lose" them; I'd rather keep them to myself.
