Swarovski and Philips Create ‘Favourite’ Light Bag

Swarovski and Philips are at it again. Redefining modern fashion. The two companies are working on a fashion piece called ‘Favourite '. A concept design for now, the bag features Philips' Lumalive textile, which has tiny arrays of LED lights, integrated into the fabric. The company has this video of the product in case you want to have a look.

FavouriteFavouriteThe front of the leather bag features a large piece of crystal mesh able to hold a flexible Lumalive background that can be used to display personalized luminous messages or patterns that are programmed by the user. The idea is to explore the possibilities of combining crystals with light in fashion accessories.

This hip new bag provides functionality with style and an original and playful way of communicating. The medium gives rise to the possibility of expressing oneself by communicating emotions or ideas in a joyous and unexpected manner. The bag can be held by a practical wrist-loop in crystal mesh.

Glamorous customization makes this bag an unusual accessory, an illustration of futuristic fashion design.

There's no word on pricing or a release date as yet, but I have to say I'll be keeping my eyes open for this one, have fallen in love with the idea already.
