CAVE_petsThe Cave Pet's is an innovative shelf that also doubles up as a home for your four legged friend. Providing much needed privacy and space the cave has shelves on one side and space for a small pet to sit on, on the other. You can stock your pet's accessories or your own pet care books on the shelves, giving it an identity of its own.
It is slim and compact and can fit into a small room too. The dimensions are W1600xH728xD400 and the shelf can be placed against a wall. But I guess one has to look elsewhere in case you share your home with a larger breed of dog.

The Truth About Cats and Dogs
Submitted on May 18th, 2007 by Anonymous Mickey Katz (not verified)Dogs might go into the designated section, but I have a strong feeling that cats will go precisely on the shelves that you do NOT want them going on. They will squeeze above books or other objects and avoid the one area that you would like them to go in.
I voted on an item similar to this for that one Pet Product contest last year (but I can't remember the name of it). I think it is, in general, a good idea, but I don't think the width is long enough.
I don't think it would be wise to put your pet books on the shelves--or anything else that you wouldn't want your pet chewing/spitting/vomiting on, etc.
